Perso, oui, j'en ai lu quelques unes.
J'ai surtout lu un morceau (j'ai pas réussi à aller au bout) du volume sorti chez Niffle-Cohen, "La nouvelle Bande-dessinée" je crois...

Ce que je veux savoir précisement, c'est si tu as lu les Innocents, l'ascension du haut-mal et Pyong-Yang, si ce n'est pas le cas, tu n'es pas en position de juger si ces livres méritent ou pas d'être dans les Eisner Awards il me semble. Si tu les as lu, j'aimerais bien connaître de manière argumentée pourquoi elles ne devraient pas y figurer, ce serait fort aimable à toi.

Pronostic que Marvel et DC sont très peu cité comme quoi quantité/qualité tout ça tout ça.

J'aimerais bien James Jean en meilleur cover artistes, Ba en dessinateur, Willigham en scénaristes.

Meilleur série Thor, mouais avec 6 où 7 numéros c'est pas dur.

Et voilà, d'entrée de jeu, la critique de l'élitisme.
C'est peut-être plutôt toi qui devrait un peu sortir la tête des parutions marvel et dc (et encore, y en a plein que tu devrais connaître rien qu'en lisant que chez les big 2). La quasi totalité des auteurs est connu voire très connu, je ne vois vraiment pas où tu vois de l'élitisme.

En même temps, il y a beaucoup de choses que je ne connais pas non plus. Parce que ça n'est ni mis en avant sur les grands sites, ni quelque chose qui a été promu sur site d'éditeur ou qui ne me branchait pas graphiquement (parce que sinon, je l'aurais vu sur le Previews).

j'en ai marre de lire cette réaction de la part de personne qui préfèrent se rassurer en traitant tout ce qu'il ne connaissent pas d'élitiste au lieu de se remettre en question et de se dire, tiens j'ai peut-être raté des bons trucs cette année.

non mais ce n'était pas une affirmation, je pose la question car y a l'air d'avoir beaucoup d'indépendants dont j'ai vraiment jamais mais alors jamais entendu parler, et même les noms des maisons d'éditions ne me disent strictement rien. Attention je ne dit pas que l'indé c'est pas bien et forcément élitiste, mais bon si ça vire comme angoulème avec que des trucs moche mais hautement intellectuel qui sont primés.
Après je le redit je connais pas du tout donc je ne peut pas juger et les autres titres en concurrences me donnerait tort de toute façon car le Thor de JMS bien que je l'adore c'est pas non plus le chef d'oeuvre de l'année et c'est du pur mainstream.
Je suis lecteur de VF à 98% mais je suis loin de me contenter des big 2, en ce moment je préfère largement un truc comme Umbrella Academy ou walking dead à certaines series DC ou Marvel.

en plus de l'indépendant, il n'y en a pas tant que ça, c'est une fausse impression : la majorité de la sélection est composé de dc, marvel, image et dark horse.

après on a un peu de bongo, idw, abstract studio, oni press, fantagraphic, drawn & quaterly , topshelf, acme, first second, pantheon des éditeurs un peu moins connu mais tout de même pas inconnu.

dans une majorité de cas, soit l'éditeur est connu, soit l'auteur est connu.
plusieurs séries de tous ces éditeurs sont traduites en vf à défaut de connaître la série nominée probablement trop récente pour avoir été traduite en vf.

reste après effectivement quelques éditeurs pas forcemment connus comme fanfare, groundwood books, red window, atelier fio, harpercollins children’s books, arsenic lullaby, vertical : mais encore une fois, souvent l'auteur est connu : Mark Evanier, Jill Thompson, Osamu Tezuka par exemple.
